A
dog show is an event where dogs are judged on their
appearance, so a beauty contest for dogs. A judge judges the
breed according to the breed standard that is established for
each breed, or according to the ideal image of the breed.
There
are several types of dog shows, this can range from a small
one-day show to a large (inter)national show of several days.
At national exhibitions there are national championship prizes
awarded, known as CAC’s (Certificat d’Aptitude au
Championnat). At international exhibitions there are also
international championship prizes awarded, knows as the CACIB’s
(Certificat d’Aptitude au Championnat internationale de
Beauté).

Sometimes
we participate with one or several of our Havanese to a dog
